Artificial Intelligence-Assisted Literature Analytics (AILA)

Systematic literature reviews (SLRs) are widely recognized as a robust method to identify and summarize evidence from published sources. However, conducting an SLR can be a complex, time-consuming, labor-intensive, and expensive task, depending on the breadth of the topic, level of granularity, or the resolution of the review needed. Artificial Intelligence-assisted Literature Analytics (AILA) offers a cutting-edge, end-to-end intelligent solution to expedite and automate SLR tasks of observational studies.

AILA has two major components that target two types of users in the observational studies in an SLR lifecycle: 1) An intelligent SLR workbench for literature reviewers who conduct routine literature reviews, 2) A living literature data dashboard for researchers and analysts who focus on analyzing SLR data and keep up to date on new evidence. The intelligent SLR workbench integrates AI technologies and an SLR workflow management system to support literature collection, screening, and data extraction. The living literature dashboard continuously searches and updates the SLR, allowing users to interactively navigate the updated literature and develop new insights.

AILA has four major innovative technology features:

  1. Comprehensive SLR Lifecycle management, including project/user management, literature search, article screening, data element extraction, data summary & export.

  2. Cutting-edge NLP technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, and explainable NLP models for article screening and data elements extraction.

  3. Cloud-based architecture. AILA is deployed on Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) with serverless NLP/AI modules support. AILA can be integrated with the Client's Single sign-on (SSO).

  4. Interactive Data Visualization – AILA can integrate additional literature data dashboards to support data visualization and discovery.

Exhibition, Booth #2:

We are thrilled to announce that our AI-powered clinical trial design and optimization suite will be available soon. The suite utilizes GPT technology to process clinical trial inclusion/exclusion eligibility criteria and links results to generalizable ontologies for applicability to all diseases. Results are queryable and contain rich, rigorous modifiers, including items such as temporal and logical attributes. The suite is also ready to link to real-world data to support the optimization of the design of clinical trials.

Stop by Booth #2 as we showcase our platform's potential to revolutionize precision medicine by enabling healthcare providers and researchers to gain data-driven insights.

Don't miss this opportunity to schedule a meeting with experts in the AI/NLP field during BioIT World.
