Liang-Chin Huang, PhD

Dr. Liang-Chin Huang is Melax Tech's Senior Data Scientist. After earning his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from the University of Georgia, Dr. Huang joined Melax Tech in March 2022. Before joining Melax Tech, Dr. Huang was a research scientist at UTHealth SBMI, where he was responsible for building a knowledge graph and developing a drug-repurposing framework for Alzheimer's disease.
In 2021, Dr. Huang co-led the UTHealth SBMI's team across five different labs in a recent LitCoin NLP Challenge held by NASA and NCATS, where they won 2nd place! You can learn more about the LitCoin NLP Challenge results.
