Jingcheng Du, PhD
Director of NLP Research
Dr. Du serves as the Director of Natural Language Processing at Melax Tech, and Adjunct Assistant Professor at University of Texas Health School of Biomedical Informatics, additionally. Dr. Du earned his Ph.D. in Medical Informatics from UTHealth, with research focusing on developing AI algorithms such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and knowledge graph for healthcare applications. Dr. Du has published over 50 peer-reviewed papers, with first-authored papers accepted in leading medical and informatics journals, such as the Lancet HIV, JAMA Network Open, npj digital medicine, and JAMIA. When not working Dr. Du enjoys spending time with his lovely son and playing basketball with his friends.
