Augustine Annan, PhD

Dr. Augustine Annan is a Senior Data Scientist at Melax Tech, where he primarily designs, develops, and adapts accurate and scalable machine learning and NLP algorithms on data resources in the biomedical domain. Dr. Annan earned his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from UT Dallas, with research focusing on developing AI algorithms such as deep learning, machine learning, reinforcement learning, and NLP for various applications. In the past years, he primarily worked on developing and improving statistical methods, optimization algorithms, and applications. In addition, Dr. Annan is intrigued by machine learning, natural language processing, and new technologies' effects on the healthcare sector.
